Pre-Implementation Services
Kaavian has divided its pre-implementation services into three series:
The company has organized these three service areas in such a flow that the end-result is system that is effective, interactive and fool-proof.
GIS ASSESSMENT SERVICES
First in the series of pre-implementation services, Kaavian's GIS Assessment Services are designed to analyze clients' current business work flows, identify their pain areas, and prescribe the best-fit solutions, considering investment, time for completion and return-on-investment.
Since faulting on diagnosis of the problem would result in a faulty application, Kaavian has made this service as the opening for other services. Considering its importance, the company assigns its most experienced consultants, having global experience in this niche area, to evaluate the clients' current processes.
GIS VISIONING WORKSHOPS
Kaavian's Visioning Workshops are designed as interactive sessions between clients' business and technology representatives with the company's senior consultants. An one-of-its-kind workshop, where the consultants explain the pain areas in the clients' current system, and the potential benefits of the proposed system. Through these workshops, Kaavian simulates clients' pains and benefits of the proposed solutions using presentations, case studies, concept proofs and demonstrations.
SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE DESIGN
This is third in the series of pre-implementation services that Kaavian offers. Through its first two services, Kaavian gathers sufficient information from clients' current system - assess pain areas and expectations - to design the architecture of the new system along with process flows.
The System Architecture Design includes:
- Technology Overview
- Existing Environment
- GIS User Needs
- Data Requirements
- Alternate Configurations - Design Components, Protocols for Information Flow, Hardware Sizing and System Load Analysis
At this stage, Kaavian equips clients with an implementation schedule to proceed to the other services with confidence, knowing what deliverables to expect from the company and when.
